The hotel might seem a bit out dated and worn down, but it boasts a great riverfront view and cozy fireplace. The service is consistently kind and welcoming, with attentive and accommodating staff. The location is quaint and inviting, offering stunning views and interesting reading materials. The included dining is like a small European breakfast buffet, although the cold food delivery could be quicker.

The staff was so attentive and accommodating, even going as far as keeping our iPad with our room number on it. The shuttle service to the concert in St Charles was a great touch.

The hotel isn't large but the setting is absolutely stunning, with a very quaint and inviting atmosphere. The staff professionalism and politeness stood out, and Atwater's restaurant, while expensive, was fabulous.

The included breakfast had a variety including hard boiled eggs, fruit, cheese, pastries, yogurt, juice, and coffee. It resembled a small European breakfast buffet.

My stay at the Herrington Inn & Spa was a mix of charm and minor drawbacks. The rooms, despite needing a little maintenance, offered a cozy and romantic ambiance with a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard and river. The service was exceptional, with kind and helpful hosts who went out of their way to assist. The location, perfect for Geneva explorations, provided a picturesque setting with convenient access to shopping, dining, and outdoor activities along the river. However, the dining experience fell short of expectations, and some facilities showed signs of neglect.

I had a mixed experience at The Herrington. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the Fox River, but they needed a general refresh. The service was professional and kind but could have been a bit more generous in personality. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of historic Geneva on the fox river, but there were some cleanliness issues with dead bugs and flies in the room.
